For now, vivo is still keeping the specifications of the V27e under wraps, save for its design and some key features. Based on what’s already revealed through the product’s web page and teaser image, it is shown to feature a flat display panel with a top-centred camera cutout, a flat frame, and a rectangular camera island sitting on the upper left corner of its rear case. The brand says the upcoming mid-range phone has a thickness of 7.8 mm, and weighs at 186 grams. Additionally, it will be available in two colour options: Lavender Purple, which features feather-like finish on its rear panel; and Glory Black, which sports a matte sandstone finish instead. In terms of imaging, vivo revealed that the V27e will feature a 64 MP primary camera with built-in optical image stabilisation (OIS) with added Ultra-Sensing enhancements. Also housed on the rear camera island on the phone is a ring-shaped lighting system dubbed as the “Aura Light Portrait” that helps make night shots appear brighter and more natural. The brand says the system comprises three lightbulbs that detect ambient lighting and adjust the brightness of its light accordingly. Meanwhile, unofficial preliminary specifications provided to tech site GSMArena suggests that the phone will feature a 6.62-inch AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixel resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5G-enabled MediaTek Helio G99 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and up to 256 GB of internal storage. Its battery is said to have a capacity of 4,600 mAh with 66 W fast charging, while the remaining two cameras are believed to be double 2 MP sensors for macro and depth. Based on the timer on vivo’s website, we’ll only learn more about the actual specifications and features of the upcoming V27e smartphone on 1 March 2023. You can expect the brand to also reveal its availability and pricing by then. (Source: vivo Malaysia [1] [2])
