More specifically, it is alleged that the Nothing Phone (2) will be available with 256GB and 512GB storage options, each offered at EUR729 (~RM3,725) and EUR849 (~RM4,339) respectively. The publication did not say how much RAM is included for either of these, however. When compared to its predecessor, it is apparent that Nothing’s second smartphone sports much heftier price tags. To recap, the Phone (1) originally launched at a starting value of RM2,399 last year, but has now been reduced to a more attractive price point of RM1,499 – likely to make way for the upcoming model. The bump in costs for the Phone (2) is expected, especially considering the fact that it features a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen2 chipset. Even though this particular hardware is a generation behind from other current phones of its class, it is still a jump in performance when compared to the mid-range SoC that’s equipped on the Phone (1). Additionally, provided that Dealabs Magazine’s report is accurate, it also appears that Nothing has decided to exclude a third memory option for its second smartphone release. For your reference, the Phone (1) launched in three choices: 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB. Nevertheless, there’s a chance that configurations may differ depending on region. As always, we’ll find out if the publication’s claims are accurate or not during the Phone (2)’s official launch next month. In case you missed it, Nothing has confirmed that the event will be streamed live via its official website and YouTube channel on 12 July at 12am local time. (Source: Dealabs)
