The UltraGear 45GR95QE is the brand’s second gaming monitor to be made available this year, after the 27GR95QE that went up for preorder earlier this year. Both models were announced near the end of last year and have slowly been making their way into our market. In terms of specification, the UltraGear 45GR95QE features a 45-inch ultrawide curved OLED panel, with a curvature of 800R. Because of its wider-than-average nature, the monitor also utilises the 21:9 aspect ratio. Additional features and specifications include an ultra-high 240Hz refresh rate – which is also a first for a monitor of this size and make – a 0.03ms response time, and Adaptive Sync. The latter also meaning that it is both an NVIDIA G-Sync Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium monitor. Along with those specs, the UltraGear 45GR95QE also supports HDR10 – that gives it a peak brightness of 1000 nits and contrast ratio of 1500000:1 – and has a DCI-P3 colour accuracy of 98.5%. As for the maximum resolution of the monitor, it is rated at 3440 x 1440 pixels. Further, the surface of the display panel has also been given the anti-glare treatment. For input, the UltraGear 45GR95QE features 2 HDMI ports, one USB Downstream port, one USB Upstream port, a DisplayPort 1.4 port, a 3.5mm headphone output jack, and even has SPDIF support as well. In terms of power consumption, the UltraGear 45GR95QE comes with an external power brick that pushes out as much as 160W of power to the monitor, although the typical power consumption for this curved OLED ultrawide gaming monitor is rated at 129W.
